Service process steps
AMELIE CARE - How to find the best nanny or housekeeper for your family
Phase 1: Defining Needs and Assignment
Timing: We recommend contacting us approximately 3 months before the desired start date. This ensures a high-quality recruitment process and thorough background checks.
Initial Consultation: We discuss your family's unique needs, the children's ages, and the job description via email.
Service Package Selection: You choose the package that best suits you (Amelie Care BRONZE, SILVER, or GOLD).
Assignment Agreement: We will enter into a written agreement that defines Amelie Care's role as the recruiter of the nanny or home care worker and the family's role as the actual employer.
INSTALLMENT 1 – Advance Payment (25%): Invoiced immediately after the agreement is signed. This payment is binding and covers the immediate startup costs of the recruitment process.
Phase 2: Anonymous recruitment and pre-selection
Anonymous Search: We launch a recruitment process where candidates' personal details remain hidden. Selection is based solely on skills and suitability.
Screening: We filter applicants based on education, work experience, and professional attitude.
Expert Interviews: Amelie Care's experts interview the most potential candidates in Finnish and English to verify their professional competence.
Phase 3: Background Checks and Candidate Presentation
Background Verification: We collect and verify all documents from the top candidates (diplomas, criminal record extracts, first aid certificates, and driver's licenses).
INSTALLMENT 2 – Presentation Fee (25%): Invoiced when the selected candidates are presented to the family. This fee is due before the release of candidate information.
Release of Candidate Details: After payment, we reveal the candidates' identities and provide all verified background information and documents for the family to review.
Family & Candidates: The family meets the candidates personally (e.g., via a remote meeting) and makes the final selection of the person to be hired.
Phase 4: Employment Contract and Starting Work
Drafting the Contract: The employment relationship is formed directly between the family (employer) and the employee. We recommend using the expert services of Lawclinic Oy (separate billing).
INSTALLMENT 3 – Success Fee (50%): Invoiced immediately once the family and the employee have signed the employment contract.
Start of Employment: The employee begins work on the agreed date. The family bears full employer responsibility and is in charge of daily guidance and supervision.
Terms of Payment: The payment term for all invoices is fourteen (14) days.
