Service process steps
AMELIE CARE - Service process steps
This is how you can find the best nanny or housekeeper for your family.
Phase 1: Needs assessment and mandate agreement
Timing: Families should contact us about 3 months prior to the desired start date. This timeframe ensures high-quality anonymous recruitment, thorough background verification, and a smooth transition.
Initial Consultation and Needs Mapping: We discuss your family's unique needs, children's ages, desired job description, and the required skill level. We prefer to conduct this communication in writing, primarily via email.
Service Package Selection: You choose the most suitable package for your needs: Trainee Worker (1800 €), Professional Worker (2300 €) or Elite Worker (3000 €).
Signing the Mandate Agreement: We enter into a written recruitment mandate agreement, which clearly defines AMELIE CARE's role as the recruiter and the family's role as the employer.
Advance Payment: A binding 25% advance payment is paid through our invoicing service, Eezy. This fee covers the immediate, non-refundable recruitment costs (e.g., advertising and process initiation) and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Phase 2: Anonymous recruitment and pre-selection
Anonymous application process launch: AMELIE CARE starts recruitment, where the personal information of the applicants (such as name, age, photo or nationality) is kept hidden. The selection is based solely on competence and suitability.
Qualification based on competence: We filter applicants based on education, work experience and professional attitude.
In-depth expert interviews: AMELIE CARE experts interview the most potential candidates in Finnish and English to ensure their professional skills before introducing them to the family.
Phase 3: Background check and introduction of candidates to the family
Background Check: We collect and check all documents (degree certificates, criminal record, first aid certificate, driver's license) from the best performing applicants.
Candidate Presentation and Release of Information: At this stage, we present you with the best candidates and reveal their identities and provide all verified background information for the family to see.
Family Interviews and Selection: You now have all the information about the candidates at your disposal. You interview and get to know them in person (e.g. remotely) and make the final selection of the person to hire.
Phase 4: Employment contract and start of work
Employment Contract Template: We will provide you with a legally reviewed employment contract template + general country-specific notes on local labor laws. The family should record the employee's duties, working hours, probationary period, salary, as well as all employment benefits and other employment contract terms in this template to avoid ambiguities during the employment relationship.
Signing the Contract: The employment relationship is established directly between your family (the employer) and the employee.
Final Payment: The remaining balance of the service package is paid as agreed through our invoicing service. If needed, the final invoice can be paid in multiple installments.
Start of Work: The caregiver begins their work with your family, and you assume full employer responsibility.
