Founder - Amelie Care
Bachelor of Sports and Leisure
Early childhood Education Professional
I have over 11 years of work experience in the physical education field and over 6 years in early childhood education. I have also worked as a swimming instructor, baby and family swimming instructor, and a nanny in a private home. I have worked abroad three times. Each time has taught me a lot about myself.
Having raised two children, a daughter and a son who are now adults, I have the time and passion to help other families navigate their busy years and find the perfect nanny or housekeeper for their home.
I've applied for many jobs and gone on many job interviews. When I spent years looking for a better job, I was disappointed many times because the application process in Finland, even in the 21st century, is not as fair or equal as it should be.
I founded my company to help Finns boldly seize international career opportunities. My goal is to promote a fairer professional world through anonymous recruitment, where only a person's skills, expertise, and attitude matter. I do this work with a big heart and a genuine desire to help, as it is important to me that everyone is treated with equality and respect.
The name Amelie is a French form of the name Amalia. Amalia, in turn, is a Latinized form of the Gothic word "amal", which means work or combat work. The initial part of the name has also been interpreted to mean efficient or diligent. That's why this name is just perfect.
At Amelie Care, I bridge the gap between skilled Finnish professionals and European families through anonymous recruitment and professional insight. My mission is to provide families with peace of mind while offering professionals rewarding international careers where their talent is truly recognized.
