Early childhood Nanny
I have over 10 years of work experience in the physical education field and over 6 years in early childhood education. I have worked as a swimming teacher and a baby and family swimming instructor. I have also worked as a nanny in a private home. I have worked abroad three times. Each time has taught me a lot about myself.
In addition to my professional background, I have raised two children of my own, a daughter and a son, who are now adults. Parenthood has been my greatest teacher. I know firsthand that daily family life isn't always easy; it can be incredibly challenging. Yet, I am profoundly grateful for my children and everything those years taught me. Now that they are grown, I have the time and energy to help other families with their everyday lives and find them the right nanny who is right for their home.
I've applied for many jobs and gone on many job interviews. When I spent years looking for a better job, I was disappointed many times because the application process in Finland, even in the 21st century, is not as fair or equal as it should be.
I founded this company so that I can help Finns boldly go abroad to work. I want to create a fairer and more equal practice. Anonymous recruitment, based only on a person's skills, competence and attitude. Because I am empathetic and I genuinely care.
The name Amelie is a French form of the name Amalia. Amalia, in turn, is a Latinized form of the Gothic word "amal", which means work or combat work. The initial part of the name has also been interpreted to mean efficient or diligent. That's why this name is just perfect.
Through Amelie Care, I connect trained Finnish childcare and home care professionals with families in Europe anonymously and on fair terms, guaranteeing peace of mind for families and fair contracts for employees.
