At Amelie Care, we don't select faces—we select based on expertise. Our anonymous recruitment process ensures that you choose a professional for your home based purely on qualifications and attitude. When the process is objective, the result is more sustainable for your family. We recruit trained professionals living in Finland—such as early childhood educators and practical nurses—for families across Europe. Finnish "sisu" (resilience), pedagogical expertise, and reliability are globally renowned, and we connect these top-tier professionals with homes that value quality, regardless of your location.
All our service packages are designed for employment contracts of at least 6 months or permanent positions. We do not provide short-term assistance or au pair solutions, as we believe that everyday stability and a family's sense of security arise from commitment and professional suitability.
Our service package prices reflect our commitment to ethical recruitment. We act as your partner, ensuring that the search is transparent and backgrounds are thoroughly vetted—our goal is to create a solid foundation for mutual trust and a smooth everyday life for your family.
IMPORTANT SERVICE INFORMATION
Service Packages and Scope of Assignment
Each service package (Amelie Care GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE) includes one (1) active search cycle. If a suitable candidate is not found during the initial search, Amelie Care will conduct one (1) supplementary anonymous follow-up search without an additional retainer fee. For PLATIUM-level commissions, the scope and duration of the recruitment process shall be determined individually, based on the specific demands of the assignment.
Recruitment Process
Every service package includes anonymous pre-screening and a thorough background check of the top candidates, which covers educational certificates, criminal record extracts, first aid certification, and driver's license verification.
Responsibilities and Legal Roles
Amelie Care acts as the recruitment service provider and consultant. The employment relationship is formed directly between the family and the employee, whereby the family is responsible for all employer obligations and payroll. The family is responsible for drafting the employment contract. We guide families to use official employment contract templates and, if necessary, recommend consulting our partner Lawclinic Oy for legal advice or a tailored contract (please note that this is a separate, paid service).
Payment Terms and Service Process
All service fees and percentages mentioned below include VAT (value-added tax). The billing for the service is divided into three installments based on the progress of the assignment:
Retainer Fee (25% of the total amount): Invoiced at the start of the assignment, immediately upon signing the agreement. This fee covers the launch of the search and candidate profiling. This payment is binding and non-refundable.
Presentation Fee (25% of the total amount): Invoiced at the stage when Amelie Care presents the selected and pre-screened candidates to the family. This payment is binding and non-refundable.
Success Fee (50% of the total amount): Invoiced immediately once the family and the employee have signed the employment contract.
Cancellation Policy: Should the client terminate the assignment for their own reasons after a work phase has already been completed, previously paid installments will not be refunded. All billable installments are based on the total VAT-inclusive price confirmed in the service agreement.
Recruitment Guarantee
The recruitment guarantee included in the service becomes effective only once the total service fee (100%) has been paid in full.
Prices and VAT
The prices shown are total prices and include VAT. The final tax rate is determined by the customer's country of residence.
EU Sales
When selling services to other EU countries, the prices of the service packages include the VAT of the destination country. Amelie Care is responsible for reporting and remitting the taxes in accordance with EU regulations.
Payment Terms: The payment term for all invoices is fourteen (14) days.
Amelie Care GOLD – 3500 € (incl. VAT)
This premium package covers a comprehensive and anonymous pre-screening process, as well as specialized skill sourcing (e.g., special education, swimming instruction, or bilingualism). The package includes a thorough background check and deep skill assessment via written assignments and interviews. The employee is a highly educated professional, perfectly suited to your family's specific needs.
As the employer, the family individually tailors the role and responsibilities for the employee. We recommend a maximum working week of 48 hours for the employee.
Guarantee: We offer a 45-day guarantee. If the placed employee resigns or the employment ends for reasons beyond the employer's control within 45 days, we will immediately start a new search at the same level without extra costs. This guarantee is valid once.
Price and Payment Terms: 3500 € (incl. VAT)
The service fee is invoiced in three installments based on the progress of the recruitment process:
Commitment Fee (25%): 875 €(incl. VAT). Invoiced upon signing the service agreement. This initiates the search and pre-screening process.
Introduction Fee (25%): 875 € (incl. VAT).Invoiced and must be settled before the presentation of qualified candidates.
Placement Fee (50%): 1750 €(incl. VAT). Invoiced once the employment contract is signed.
Amelie Care SILVER – 3000 € (incl. VAT)
This standard package covers our anonymous pre-screening process and the recruitment of a formally trained professional (e.g., a practical nurse). The package includes a thorough background check and a deep assessment of skills through both written assignments and interviews.
As the employer, the family individually defines the role and the specific childcare and household tasks for the employee. We recommend a maximum shift length of 8 hours for the employee.
Guarantee: We offer a 30-day guarantee. If the placed employee resigns or the employment relationship ends for reasons beyond the employer's control within 30 days, we will immediately start a new search at the same level without extra costs. This guarantee is valid once.
Price and Payment Terms: 3 000 € (incl. VAT)
The service fee is invoiced in three installments based on the progress of the recruitment process:

Introduction Fee (25%): 750 € (incl. VAT). Invoiced and must be settled before the presentation of qualified candidates.

Amelie Care BRONZE -2500€ (incl. VAT)
This basic package covers our anonymous pre-screening and the selection of a candidate with at least one year of experience, or a skilled professional who has recently graduated with excellent grades. The package includes a thorough background check and a skill assessment through both written assignments and interviews.
As the employer, the family defines the appropriate role and the specific tasks related to childcare and helping the family. We recommend a shift length of 6–8 hours.
Guarantee: We offer a 14-day guarantee. If the placed employee resigns or the employment relationship ends for reasons beyond the employer's control within 14 days, we will immediately start a new search at the same level without extra costs. This guarantee is valid once.

The service fee is invoiced in three installments based on the progress of the recruitment process:

Amelie Care Platinum
Bespoke & International Search
This is Amelie Care's premier service level, designed for families seeking uncompromising professionalism and absolute discretion. A Platinum-level assignment is always a custom-tailored project. It is specifically designed for international executive searches, the assembly of multi-staff rotation teams (e.g., nannies, private tutors, and housekeepers), and placements requiring the utmost confidentiality.
Our recruitment focus is on the candidate's high pedagogical capabilities and their ability to excel in demanding and dynamic environments. In our selection process, we emphasize exceptional pressure tolerance, as well as an absolute commitment to non-disclosure and sensitivity toward the family's privacy.
Service Content:
International or multi-professional direct search and headhunting.
In-depth psychological and pedagogical profiling of candidates.
Access to our partner network's legal expert Lawclinic Oy for drafting customized employment contracts in English. The family coordinates and remunerates this expert service directly with the law firm.
A dedicated recruitment consultant available throughout the entire process.
Guarantee:
We offer an extended 90-day guarantee for the Platinum level. Should the employment end within three (3) months for reasons independent of the employer, we will immediately initiate a new search of an equivalent level without any additional retainer or presentation fees.
Pricing and Payment Terms:
For Platinum-level assignments, the scope and duration of the search period are always agreed upon on a case-by-case basis, depending on the complexity of the project.
Service price starting from 5 000 € (incl. VAT). The final service fee will be confirmed in the assignment agreement following a consultation, based on the scope of the project. Billing follows Amelie Care's three-stage model (25% / 25% / 50%), ensuring transparency and commitment for both parties.
